Role & Responsibilities:

As a Junior Project Researcher, you will play a vital role in producing risk assessments for our clients in accordance with CIRIA C681 guidelines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing comprehensive risk assessments in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Efficiently managing and prioritising your workload to meet report delivery deadlines.
  • Requesting archival information, and where necessary travelling to archives for research purposes.
  • Organising and cataloguing archival information to align with the existing research library.
  • Collaborating with the Brimstone operations and sales team to ensure smooth delivery of risk assessments.
  • Assisting in research department-wide projects.
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in working on research projects.
  • Proficiency in written English with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) will be beneficial.
  • A broad interest in history, with military history preferable.
